In line with the EU General Data Protection Regulations coming into effect on 25th May 2018, and my continued commitment to being open and transparent in providing my service, I have updated the following privacy policy to clearly convey information about the data I collect about you, what I use it for, how it’s stored, and how you can revoke consent previously given.
Revoking your consent:
At any time you can request to cease being contacted by me, or your information no longer being kept by me, by emailing here or at [email protected].
– Please note, that if we are still in the process of working together, this will hinder my ability to carry out agreed services which are yet to be fulfilled.
What data is collected:
Details such as your name, email address, telephone number and postal address, will be given by you when you enquire about my services through my website contact form or other directory listing; during our telephone, video calling or face to face consultations; or via connecting with me through social media (such as my Facebook business page) or other means of contact.
As with many websites, I have a package installed which collects visitor statistics. As part of this, your IP address and country location is anonymously logged and I cannot personally identify you from this data.
What I use your data for:
Your personal information, such as name and contact details are used to contact and liaise with you in regards to your ceremony, to requests testimonials and reviews, to send first anniversary good wishes, and to request votes for business industry awards I have been nominated in.
Website statistics are used by me to get an idea of how my website is performing, such as which pages are being viewed most and how best to amend my website so that you can get the easiest and best experience when visiting it.
Sharing information:
My policy has always been to not give or sell your information to any third party organisations. And this will continue to be the case.
How your data is stored:
I store information in electronic form and hard copy. Electronic data is kept on computer and hard-drive, which is for my own use and isn’t accessed by others. Paper records are securely locked away.
How long your data is kept:
I will not keep your data for longer than is necessary. And at that point I will ensure your electronic information is deleted and any hard copies confidentially disposed of.

Testimonials, photographs and videos:
Testimonials, photographs and video links are requested with the intention that they remain on my website or social media (such as my Facebook business page), however at any time you can request those appearing on my website/social media or any in a listing or article I’ve provided the media for, be deleted by emailing here or via [email protected]
– Written reviews/testimonials – I will ask you to agree to write a testimonial regarding how you’ve experienced my services. Your testimonial will appear on my website and social media to help couples, like yourself, in their search to find the best celebrant for them.
– Photographs – I will ask you to agree to using photographs from the ceremony I’ve officiated for you, for promotional purposes across my website and social media, as well as in directory listings and articles written by me, which are hosted on other websites.
– Videos – As wedding videos are often hosted on a third party website, I will seek consent that you’re happy for me to share a link to your video on my own website.

I have links on my website to other websites which have their own Privacy Policy. I am not liable or responsible for the content or activity of these third party sites.
